Cindy’s Bio

The moment you hear the sound of her stunning voice, Cindy Santini will captivate you. This bronzed and beautiful songstress writes love songs with a twist, describing “love” as the reawakening of her musical spirit. Drawing on her vast collection of unique life experiences, Cindy has cultivated this profound songwriting resource into her own distinct tapestry of sound.

A Stockton, California native, her musical journey began in grade school, with the “rock star” of musical instruments, the trombone. While she now finds her modest brass beginnings amusing, she admits it provided the perfect springboard or her first high school band. An eight-piece, hip-hop/ska act, Phirocious Allstars featured Cindy’s horn skills as well as her vocals. It was at this same time she discovered her father’s classical guitar in the attic, dusted it off, and taught herself to play. Within a week she had written her first song and found herself falling in love.

As life progressed, her academic path intensified, priorities shifted, and music unfortunately took a back seat. As with school, ensuing entrepreneurial endeavors also proved unfulfilling and it was at this point she realized it was time to return to the one thing that made her happiest — music. After a prolonged hiatus, she resumed her songwriting and began playing venues around San Diego. It wasn’t long before she was discovered by David Mckenna from Bonded Records. Soon after, she was signed and recording her debut album, Making Sound at Stuart Brawley’s L.A.-based Backyard Studios.

Cindy recognizes that rediscovering her love of music is a blessing that few one-time musicians achieve. Blissful and grateful, her second chance with true love inspires her boundless optimism and drives her to spark the same enthusiasm in others. Her simple message – love your life. This carpe diem mentality headlines her songwriting and provides inspiration for songs like “Always the Best Day” in which she declares every day to be the best day of her life. She invites all listeners live by these words and to participate in her mission to use music as a vessel to bring people together, promote humanitarian causes, and reawaken love and passion in the world.
